Day 14
I woke feeling good about it. Then kind of minimized it thinking you at the beginning. But then I thought damn when was the last time you went two weeks without a drop and your not at day 1.
I been using the one day at time slogan and man is it real. Just dealing in today and not drinking for today is great and let the days rack up. My emotions have been like a damn roller coaster which I know will improve - the guilt shame etc.. Sleep has way improved. I am sure the exercise I have thrown is helping with the sleep.
Had a good phone meeting with my addiction counselor about the guilt and shame, he gave me some homework to start addressing it. I know I have a ways to go but day 14 sure feels WAY better than day 1.

Don't think or stress about what is ahead...hahaha....that is what we always do...keep it in the one day...and like you said they rack up...and stop minimizing the number of days you have....because for us...once in active addiction it is a huge accomplishment to even GET ONE DAY.....
