Hmmm.

Suze, I admit I googled it and here's what I got:

Yakutsk
Nearly 300,000 people live in Yakutsk, reputed to be the world's coldest city.

Other than that...I don't know....London?

OK, I was thinking that might not be fair if you live in Russia.

Anchorage, Alaska. Is the scientist on the anchor or in the anchor hold or in the chain locker?

I must say, at first I read “gold” and immediately thought, must be El Dorado!

Your pilot's got quite a headache trying to find the suffering from a headache, so off to my cabin to sleep.

Please, wake me up when my shift starts)

Definitely not, any boat I'm on would have to be as environmentally friendly as possible. There are now prototypes that include flexible solar energy sails (it is called the Aquila at present) The world's largest sailboat - the Black Pearl - also has solar panels and hydro regeneration. Someone will need to look after them and hopefully make me redundant. The Black Pearl really is big enough for every Weekender.

Nice one Leigh

I’m going to hit the deck guys, and watch the stars in all their glory.
See you all in the morning.

Anyone for an early morning dip before breakfast?
I saw the water looks so warm and inviting?

If so I’ll see you at first light. Night.

Brown butter omelets with filling of choice for breakfast.

See you at first light. Sunrise on that big ocean horizon is amazing, so roll out of your hammocks hungry. . .

Ahoy weekend sailors

It’s nearly light, so I’m going to have a swim, if you’re about MantaLady, I’m in the water. Anyone fancy a swim?

Hawkeye, I’ll be appreciative of your brown butter omelets after our swim, they sound wonderful. (I’ll not be able to decide on a filling...go on then , cheese please. )

Looks like a gorgeous day ahead. The waters are calm and the sea is so blue...and surprisingly warm.

Morning, shipmates!

Mags - I am definitely joining you for a swim!

Hawkeye - Can I ask for extra egg whites in my omelette? Athletes and their protein nonsense, you know)

Yes, it's going to be a glorious day.

And I’m thinking a choice of savoury or sweet omelette fillings
I’ll grate some cheese, and chop some onions, tomatoes and mushrooms for the savoury ones (you can choose which fillings)
Also for the sweet tooth sailors, some strawberries and/or blueberries and cream, or lemon and sugar, or bananas and honey......

Thanks MB, it’s really making me hungry thinking about it! I think I’m definitely having one of Hawkeyes omelette for breakfast in the morning

It’s nearly 8pm here so I’m off to bed soon.
Good Night
