Coming up on 5 days...update/accountability post

Posting for accountability... Coming up on day 5 and im still pretty sick as far as nausea, high blood pressure, anxiety, fatigue, etc... Also cant sleep and feel feverish, starting to wonder if its more than withdrawl and maybe coming down with something but i hope not!

Went on a little bike ride yesterday and bought my supplements for my anemia to get back on the routine of wellness.

And then today i cleaned my house and did a short workout... Focusing on checking off small goals for the day.

Ive also been coming on here daily and reading. Ive made up my mind that i am not drinking today no matter what.

Been eating a ton of food!! i was even eating frosting by the spoonful lol 🤦🏽*♀️🤦🏽*♀️oh well 🤷🏽*♀️one thing at a time....

Hope everyone is good

and remember that it's the 1st drink that gets us drunk not the 5th or 10th ...

... we can't get drunk if we don't the that 1st drink!

Excellent news, R!

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this to you, but you can find a ton of meetings online now. You can do an internet search for your city or county AA and should be able to locate those listings. Those in my area are mostly using Zoom, which is super easy to use.

intherooms has always had online meetings. That's a great resource for all times of the day or night since it's international.

I know you got a lot of value from meetings before, so wanted to be sure you were aware.

Great job!
Get out and walk. It'll do wonders for hypertension. It sure helped me in the beginning. Over time, your BP will indeed get better. I go for an hour at a time now...helps clear the mind, too.
Stay sober, buddy!
