StayCation Weekend - Weekenders 27- 30 March 2020
The other friend died in Johns Hopkins Hospital.
I will try to send a PM with a copy of their obits.
Oh, cool, your tuna sounds delicious. Mine is made with cream of celery soup.
Welcome to Weekenders dig12! Good to have you on board.
Ah! I should have spotted that. I just read the word "MARLBORO" on the spoiler and assumed. Bad form on my part.
You have been a chatty bunch this afternoon, good to see. Excellent posts too. I don't know whether it is linked or just coincidence but drinking has not crossed my mind once since this pandemic kicked off. I never crave booze now but it very occasionally comes to mind but not now.
TGIF doesn't mean anything right now does it.

The sky is super clear tonight so you can see Venus shining above the moon and it’s huge and so bright! I love looking at the night sky, especially lucky here as we don’t get a lot of light pollution. x
Yes, I see it too! It's huge, I live far out in the countryside so we have no air/light pollution anyway. The International Space Station passed over tonight aswell.
Reid, I love catching a glimpse of the International Space Center. I saw it pass overhead one evening at close to sunset and the reflection of the sun made it so very easy to see. Very thrilling. It is fun to stargaze and watch for satellites; if the sky is clear and there isn’t much ambient, you can often spot other satellites.
Manta, I love the night skies, too. Venus has been magnificent lately. Pulsars are also very interesting; they look slightly different as they pulse a red and blue light.

Hmm, I'll have to try to spot the space station. We have a lot of light pollution but there are some relatively dark spots not too far away, and social distancing won't be an issue if no one else is around.
I wonder whether the web maps where it will be passing, and when? No doubt yes, I'll check it out.

Hard to think it's over the middle of the Pacific Ocean now when about 2.5 hours ago it was over Ireland!
Here's another tracker map. Put in your location and it will give you a time when you can see it-
