At the risk of sounding completely naive and idiotic but are you confined in your own home from your husband Mags ?
The cocooning concept ?
Did ye have a tiff ✌️

Facetious interesting.

All these horsey people, very posh 🐸🐎

The result of yesterday's chocolate mousse will probably cost a months jogging but my god it's so good.

I had a good teacher.
6 eggs, seperate white and yolk, mix up the egg White, 2 large dark chocolate bars melted and then mixed with the egg yolks. Slowly mix the egg white to the mix. Fridge for minimum 2 hours and voila.

Well done for resisting those cravings Willow and congratulations on 28 days! This lockdown means we have more downtime and more time alone with our thoughts, that was when my AV would strike so finding a task or distraction might be a good idea.

Here's a little virtual drive in a 1967 Lamborghini Miura with the voice of fellow Londoner Matt Monro (he was one of us) For any younger people this is the opening sequence to a film called The Italian Job with Michael Caine.

Vinny, our spare bedroom was never used so we put the running machine that nobody uses in there, along with stuff! So I’m not completely isolated from him. He’s isolating too though, just goes to collect groceries and drop off at his parents, unless it’s a home delivery. I did suggest he go stay with his parents and take care of them.
He’s been isolating me before they said isolate.

Love the chocolate mousse.....a zillion calories.

Saou, how I love that song and drive.

Oh Bim I just saw the chocolate mice , so cute. Hope you manage to get back to sleep.

Bim, those mice are adorable. Almost too cute to eat. Almost, but not quite. Chocolate anything is edible, no matter how cute

Morning Everyone! It's always a good start to the day when chocolate is involved! Bit confused as I am sure the other clock changing peeps are, glad we are home for it though as when having to go into the office I have to get up at 5:30am which is early enough but when the clocks change that becomes 4:30am. I was hoping now we are out of the EU we might have put a stop to all this clock changing nonsense lol.

Windy and chilly here today and the forecast is saying it might snow a little which is hard to believe after being sat outside for a week sunbathing. x

I remember Matt Monro. I'm reminded of another song, quite a different song really that comes at the end of a film. Gosford Park, an upstairs downstairs, murder mystery by Julian Fellows. Lots of goings on and stories of peoples lives from upstairs and downstairs and the changing times.
At the end of the film everybody leaves the big house in big old cars along the country driveway and this IvorNovello song is played. I found it so sad but lovely after watching the film...

Morning Manta

Awww Kaily what a cute pic ❤️

I’m off to bed at 7.30pm with an old novel of Mum’s that I dug out of a box of her books. I have the perfect reading opportunity stretching out in front of me, to get into reading the stuff she loved to read ❤️ Makes me feel comforted somehow, and close to her ❤️

Goodnight everyone x

ps I got through today (thanks for the support everyone) and I’ve made it to 4 weeks sober

Morning Mags and Harriet. I am just trying to get on the zoom call for the rehab which is usually 9am, so should be 10am now but there is no-one on it....does Thailand also change it's clocks? Going to cook a batch of shepherds pie today and do some cleaning, not that the house needs much of a clean but I do have a lot of ironing to do so will crack on with that to keep busy x

Thailand does not observe Summer Time Manta so they are now an hour behind where they would have been yesterday (if that makes sense)

It is a great song and drive Mags though it ended badly as he got whacked by the mob (as they say) once he disappeared into that tunnel at the end..

I am not a fan of Downton Abbey but I thought Gosford Park was excellent Harriet. For anyone that does like Downton it is well worth finding and watching.

Good morning! I'm enjoying a "toy purge" this morning. It's amazing how many toys three children can accumulate. And all the lost parts and the "What's this for questions?" that I have :S

I'm here and reading though. Enjoy the day everyone!

MantaLady did you get your zoom call earlier for the rehab. I always get confused with the time when they change the clock.
