Happy Monday everyone,
Back to work (from home) so I’m not here as much during the day. A side benefit to not drinking is I’ve lost 5 pounds (2.3 kgs?) in this time. It makes sense be based on the empty calories I was consuming through alcohell. We are on lock down here in the US through at least April 30th. Things are still escalating here, but luckily in the Southwest nowhere near as much.

Ditto love.....I just reported my landlady to the Ohio Dept of Health for breaking this order. She has contractors going in and out of the shared front door all day. And the noise is horrendous. I am furious. Biting my cheek.

Morning all hope everyone is well, day 16 feeling groggy this morning ate to much rubbish last night then had bad night sleep so feeling sluggish and headache. Never mind i will be healthier today and get on treadmill when i muster up some energy, another day of home schooling hopefully with less tantrums !!

the AV does not stick around forever - it grows fainter and much more easy to defeat - give it time effort and a little patience.

I just made chicken fajitas for an early dinner. I love Mexican food too
Tink I didn’t sleep at all well last night and had a headache all afternoon from lack of sleep. I think it was the sugar I ate last night too, icecream and chocolate. ...
Freedom the AV has been hassling me too but we have to ignore it, or bash it back into subservience. As Dee said, the longer we resist it and stay sober, the weaker it gets and the fainter it’s voice is.
Anyway, I’m exhausted and off to bed really early, it’s 6.10pm and I can barely keep my eyes open.

Its not the adult, responsible side of you. The adult side knows full well that you won't have four cans. The adult side is sensible and bases decisions on history and reality. It knows that those four cans will throw you back into your addiction.

You're right. Even if I did just stick to 4 cans
- i probably wouldn't enjoy just four
- I'd have to go to the store in a pandemic when I don't need to
- That's 6 euros down the drain and every penny counts since I haven't saved up money due to drinking and I need to pay in September
- 4 cans is over 1100 calories and I need to lose weight
