Many congrats on getting through week one. So happy for you and great that you are still so committed.

I'm a bit over five weeks sober now and still not sleeping well, but that is a small negative compared to the many positives associated with not drinking.

Keep up the great work and keep posting often - I reckon your next big milestone is double digits only a few days away.

Good job steph, also Billy and others that are a week or so in.

I'm sure that withdrawals are different for different people. I wanted to eat everything in site and body was in a kind of systems reboot for a while. I'm in a much better place now for eating healthy and getting exercise, much better than would have ever been possible while drinking.

5 weeks is amazing! You're doing soo well!
Lack of sleep is frustrating but I 100% agree with you that it's worth it! Definitely enjoy the mornings more these days - Even without sleep my mind is so much clearer as I'm sure yours is too!

Oh, me too! I havent stopped eating but I guess it's just my body missing those empty calories! I'm not worrying too much though as I'm trying to make better food choices and have been working out often. Plus it really is a case of one step at a time and I'm content with how things are going right now 🙂
I'm so glad you're in a better place and feeling the benefits of not drinking - We all deserve to be the best that we possibly can be and to feel real happiness!
