If it any consolation I have been going through the same thing today.

Drunk dialling and texting while drunk is a big problem for me. I think it happens because I know I’m in a bad place and am desperate to have someone help me.

50 days is brilliant focus on that and getting sober again straightaway.

We all make mistakes and have done things we regret! Get through the next 24 hours and you will feel a lot better I guarantee you.

The best thing to do now is to make sure it doesn't happen again. You don't have to go through this ever again.

I'm glad you're back and posting. You can do this!

For what it's worth - I did the same thing every time I got drunk. I would self-sabotage in any way possible to give myself a reason to continue binge drinking.

Yeah, don't feel like the Lone Ranger Samantha. My favorite thing to do was blackout shopping. Once I figured out that my drinking was $15-$30 per day, I started looking back at purchasing habits, and adding in food decisions while drunk and I'll bet my average drunk output for a 24-hour period was anywhere from $15-$200. Real smart. Then add in the drunk texting, drunk email, drunk Facebooking, all of that. Insanity. We don't drink anymore Samantha and there are SO many reasons why.

I rang someone 16 times.
Make a plan of recovery, get support on the ground, post here- go to meetings would be my suggestion.

Good to read your shares. Keep posting and my support to you.

yeah I'm thankful it was my cousin and not like someone I work with but I am known to delete a lot of things so it's possible I did.
I have every intention to be on here every day. Unfortunately I was on here every day leading up to Saturday too I feel like a failure but I'm not ready to give up yet.

You are never a failure until you quit trying.

As far as recovery goes,sure.. however.. work/personal relationship(s) and people get tired of the nonsense. And rightfully so with the same repetitive behavior, after a while. Wives, family, work, friends will fade away.
