I'm so sorry to hear this, keeping you and your father in my thoughts and prayers. Don't give up hope. I know someone who was in liver failure 22 years ago. He was in ICU and the doctors put in a shunt. He survived and now lives a very healthy life. I hope something can be done for your Dad. 🙏

I'm so sorry Coloradokid. Stay here and post with us and we can heal some with you. You were a good son to him. We are here for you young brother. And by the way, I hope you know how many people you helped by posting here. We are all your father. We are all guilty of hurting other people with our drinking. Innocent people like you. To have you come on here and tell us your story and to share the passing of your father to this awful mess is powerful. It will save more than one life is my guess. Nothing will ever change that and I thank you.
