For me, this relates to sobriety.

My wife's brother had his kids (and their SO) take the red eye on Friday.
These kids have been born and raised in Los Angeles, and their parents were raised in Lima Peru. We picked up em up bright and early and started showing them some things that they probably have not been exposed to. We took our truck and drove on the lake which kind of freaked em out. Then they went tubing down our local ski hill. Today they are off to see the ice castle in Minneapolis. When they get home I am charged with cooking a massive delicious seafood pasta meal. Little nervous about that, but I think I will be ok. Mall of America tomorrow for the kiddo's and they will be in shock as to how big it is.

Its rewarding.

Very rewarding Thomas. I can see their bright eyes, now. Kids are great.

I'd be freaked out driving in a truck on a lake, as well. I'm from australia and we don't have a lot of ice here.

I agree, it relates to sobriety. The good life. The life we deserve.

Things like that you can appreciate when you're sober.

Totally agree.

Great for you and your family.

Keeping that respect and trust intact is a great thing.

I have heard sad stories here of trust lost and never regained.

Drinking doesn't fit into my new life.

Life on a natural high. The only way to fly.

Thanks.

I'd love to see those things, too. It's wonderful to know you're enjoying feeling better, Jeff.
