yea, he/she has not been to this forum in almost 2 months now. Made this post then showed "activity" 6 days later then has not been on since. I know its not unusual for forum members to come and go but this particular situation strikes me as odd. Has had me curious for a while now.

Oh it makes sense to me. Once I was sober for 4 months. I was on this site a million times a day. I was going to SUCCEED!

Well, once I drank after 4 months, I really didn't come back for like a year. Posting here wasn't worthwhile if I wasn't trying to quit (which I wasn't). Once I lapsed, I just wasn't ready to try again. For a long while actually. A whole year or so.

Once I decided to come back, though, I came back with a renewed purpose. I'm now at 337 days. I guess I'm saying, I obviously don't know if Soberican slipped up and has stayed slipped up. If he did slip up, though, which is obviously common among addicts and nothing to be ashamed of, then I think not logging on here is not odd at all.

The SoberRican I got to know was sober SoberRican. THAT person logs on daily with a dose of positivity. I don't know the other SoberRican. From what I can guess, he/she is very different.

I hope the SoberRican I "know" comes back soon.

I also did that once. Slightly different situation explained in other posts but I also quit posting after I started drinking and came back like 4 years later when I was looking for motivation again. I understand.
