273 days sober
Good morning everyone. Hope all is well and that you are enjoying sobriety. Me making a desision 273 days to surrender changed the whole dynamics of my life. So like it's bitter sweet. Obviously giving up the sauce is by far the best thing I could do for me. But with that came the challenges . it's not like there is a manual you follow for life. So it is foreign for me. I dont dwell on the carnage I have created due to my lunicy. Are things better for me? Yes they are in many ways . I try not to overwhelm myself with them thoughts. This journey I am on has opened many doors for me. And I am grateful. I know I am still work in progress and as long as I stay focused on doing the right thing the rest will follow. Life is good fam. ✌
Without the challenges we would not grow Sober Rican. Stuck in Sameville.
With each successful challenge we find greater depth to ourselves. Greater dimension. That's where I'm laying my money at anyrate.
Let's face it, intoxed is pretty shallow. Dead, meaningless. I want the depth now, and I'm up for the challenge. Slowly, I'm beginning to experiment with Life. "I can jump puddles."
Congratulations on 273 days Sober Rican. Me, 48 days, and you've helped me along the way. Thanks for being there.

Not disappointing SoberRican is one of the dozen or so things that keeps me sober. I look forward to your posts every day SoberRican. Thank you for taking the time to do that for this community. Living in Day 73 here. A sober Super Bowl tomorrow. Wow, that will certainly be a first. Making some awesome food and watching it with some sober mates.
