You don't need to apologize to me. I know where you are.
I also know that it's hard to convey tone via online stuff, but the way I'm speaking this as I write it is with the total I get it vibe. I don't know what to say to help now, tho.

Well, thank you - I got up bc I couldn't fall back asleep around 130 and here at my desk, was thinking about how many people along the way were tiny points of light for me. I didn't "get" it all totally, not then, tho on some level I knew there were good people out there trying to help me. Happy to be a tiny version of that for you if I can.
Hey man you know what you have to do. Putting it off just makes it harder. I am on my phone but look for a thread in newcomers called prayers please. Don’t waste the sup port You have here. Use it to stop drinking - right now.
Hey thomas11, hope you can put down the booze down now, you're going to feel poorly for a while but the longer you continue drinking the harder and the more dangerous the withdrawals are going to be.
I know the position you are in now, don't worry about posting here and saying sorry- the most important thing is you can get through this safe and sound!

Your not an idiot and you aren’t broken Jeff, your are just drunk. The help you most desperately need is right in your own 2 hands. Dump out what you have and start drinking some water.
I know you can right the ship because you’ve done it before, but I would argue that foe you face in alcohol is far more dangerous than any other in potential consequence. Fortunately you hold the power to stop it in its tracks if you so choose.

Alcohol fuels the pain and hopeless parts of ourselves like putting gas on a fire.
It isn’t a true reflection of reality or who we are as a whole being.
Put down the bottle and either go to bed or eat something.
Nothing can be resolved when you are drunk.
You are no more broken than the rest of us.
You are a good human who is suffering, a little lost right now but you can heal and grow from pain.
Use it to feel your fire instead of alcohol. Transmute the trauma of history into a future of hope, love, and forgiveness.
Yes, you have that power, and your first step is putting down the bottle again this last time forever. Peace comes from that.
