6 Weeks Today! Going strong.
Last few days were stressful, and I was traveling — for me, the ultimate trigger. No one around to monitor me, and periods of boredom surrounded by booze in airports. But I’d do not and did not want to go back. I am loving sober life.
You sound great. Airports are one of my big triggers. I used to think traveling drunk was fun. Pretty much the opposite.
These days it is more about just getting to where I am going. Any enjoyment like a nice USO or nobody next to us in the row is extra.
Airports can be beautiful. I have admired the architecture and hustle of the folks at many.
That is what I look forward to for our next trip.
Thanks.

That's awesome! Congrats!!
I fly for work and used to use those trips as excuse to drink up as well. I HATE flying . Once I started flying with my kids, I realized what example I was setting. I use a prescription anxiety med when I fly now. What a difference!! I can sit in the airport and either read, or watch my downloaded shows in a quiet spot. I no longer stress about how long it will take for inflight service, or keep hunting down the closest bar to the gate.
You have made great strides....keep on going!!
