And those other nasty habits

Today one of us died in his sleep of a heart attack. He was in his 60's. TM was sober for many years, shared his love and experience with many people. He will be missed.

Alcohol did not kill him. Tobacco did.

PLEASE STOP ******* Smoking. Now Today. Forever

Love you
Brad

Ah Fly, that sucks. 60 is way too young.

What do you mean TM was one of us? Was he a poster hear on SR?

Smoking is such a gross selfish habit. I've started using the entrance on the other side of AA just to avoid walking into the smoke cloud. I quit almost 8 years ago and it was such an awesome decision (I used Chantix). I can't stand to see people just flick a butt on the ground or out of a car window. Also the smokers in AA that will smoke half a cigarette and put the other back in their pack. The smell is awful.

That is sad, Brad. Sorry to hear that.

It took me a long time to do it, but I quit almost 6 months ago. It was harder than quitting drinking was for me. I'm still hoping I didn't do any major damage to my health. Smoking is so dangerous.

I quit a few years back; actually almost half a decade ago! Woot woot!

I agree the smell is just downright awful. I am looking forward to many many years left without smoking.
