Good morning my sober peeps. Happy Thursday. Home late today . Had a meeting at work. The first of the year kind of thing.i guess there are going to be some changes due to more business were are getting . they want to run a continues operation. 7 days a week which means we could be doing a 12 hour swing shift. Some folks were not happy with it. Me? Eh whatever I just go with the flow. Long as that check dont bounce lol. Anyways you know us B oozers dont like change unless you want to be an ex boozer. Then change is inevitable. You cant keep doing what you were doing and be sober. It dont work that way. I know I had to tweak a few things in my life. And I had to do so in a way that would work for me. Did I have a plan? No I didn't but I knew the first thing on the agenda was to surrender to this thing called addiction. Throw the towel in. Next thing was to get myself well again . I took it one day at a time. And as I am doing so some clarity started coming back to me. Thus the planning began. Started building my arsenal of tools. Blue book. AA podcast. And of coarse SR. You guys here are part of the mix for my foundation. .this site has helped me tremendously. More than you will ever know. Well you do know why? Cause applying those tools to my life I have been sober for 257 days I have kept it simple . one day at a time is my approach. Oh and can't forget that power greater than us as well fam. ✌ |
