I'm glad to be here, but lol I'll be here for only the next 5 minutes this time around (it'll be 11 p.m. here in New England), and I need to turn in at a reasonable hour for a change.
I discovered SR about 10 days ago, and am finding it to be very helpful and supportive, and I am learning a lot.
I suggest you explore the site and some of the various post threads. You may wish to join the Class of January 2020 forum where a lot of the new arrivals are posting pretty regularly.

So I went to bed 5.5 hours ago like I said, and slept well for about 4.5. It is 4:30 a.m. here now and I am not sure whether or not I will get up or hang here horizontal (in bed) for a while.
One of the dogs just wandered in from the living room and nuzzled under the blanket so that tipped the scale towards staying put at least for a few more minutes. Maybe I'll even doze off.
So, Bernard, now you pretty much know everything I've been up to since the time you first posted until now lol.
How about you? I'm not necessarily asking for a minute-by-minute description, that's up to you. Just wondering if you're out there and feel like posting.

Welcome Bernard. What's up? I hope you are well and healthy. If not, this is a great place to start to get back to well and healthy. Living in Day 58 here. Best 58 days in a row since I was a kid. Drank way too much for 30+ years, alcoholic for the last 20 years, and an insane alcoholic marching towards an early grave for the last 10. SR is one of the things that saved my life. You will find help and support here if you want that.
