Good morning everyone hope all is well for you today. Enjoying a cup of coffee. I'm at 253 days of sober living . see that magic word? Living! Yes this is living . 253days ago it was called something else. Or let me just add a word to it . A living Hell. ✌

Day 53 feels pretty good to me SoberRican. I've been up for 4 hours, did the chores, took a hike with my pooch, and did the grocery shopping. Not even 9:30 a.m. yet. Ahhhh, sobriety. I cannot get over how many more hours there are in the day and how enjoyable that is.

I feel ya I been up since early didnt want to post my chore list I already done lol. Its all good tho. Keeps me focused always some little thing to do here and there. Break that routine I had before of going into the fridge over and over and over. . No more!!!!

I think I have a few football games in my future today. Hot green tea and a pot of chili. 54 days ago I would have added a few bottles of wine, 4 beers and a pint of scotch. Never would have seen a minute of football, the chili would have spoiled on the stove top because I forgot to put it away, and the tea, and its cup, would have been thrown at the wall at the realization that tomorrow, I will feel like I want to die. No more sir.

I'm not sure how many days it's been. I dont dwell on it. I quit and that is that. I dont think about drinking or not drinking much anymore. I did just pass the 7 month mark though. I won't drink to that. Glad to see it has stuck for you as well.
