Day 11
Day 11
Hi everyone, I made it to day 11 and yes I have had many day 11's, but I find myself with no cravings...I'm actually shocked I'm not struggling. I am in emotional turmoil though...trying and wanting all the pain and mess that my drinking has caused myself and others to be a very distant faint memory for all. But, I think what's helping is the suggestions I received on my op about my son telling me the absolute first thing I need to do to for him and myself is NOT Drink! Also can anyone recommend a good step workbook? Ty
a good step workbook?
well it's hard to beat the Big Book of AA for that. it speaks specifically and at length about each step. i would suggest starting there, read Chapter 5 How It Works, Chapter 6 Into Action and Chapter 7 Working With Others. It's available online, free here:

We work the steps by writing the steps. New notebook, good pen or fire up the text software of your choice. We write til our hand hurts. We write out our responses to EACH step thoroughly. that means no skipping steps, or picking at them like a buffet. each one, in order.
