Day 30

Wow. I'm very happy about this. I've gone longer without alcohol in my adult life but never completely sober. It actually feels really good. My head is clearer than it has been since I was probably a teenager. I remember names and faces better. I can more easily recall things that happened in shows I'm watching. I'm sleeping better (still using prescribed Ativan but the dose is going down steadily). Thanks to all the support here and at AA I think I have a real shot at being a long term success story.

It's a whole new world! I remember when I got sober, flowers looked different, trees looked different, I could smell the roses! I would walk by a park and appreciate the park for it's natural beauty. Prior to this, a park was a place to drink or urinate. Yikes!
