Will at least someone call me
Hi SuperMario,
How can we help you? What's going on this evening?
I had to remove your phone number because it's not safe to post that on the boards, but please post and talk to us.

Maybe someone is volunteering their time and answering the phones, try calling them!

I would suggest that the best person to call is the AA helpline, it will be manned. Better than anyone here for these reasons 1, they are actually sitting there waiting for such a call - they want to help and have volunteered to do so - at whatever time you call, 2, they will either be local to you, or will put you in touch with someone local to you.
I did this after I relapsed, spoke to someone on the phone, and the next day 2 guys came to my flat. OK it took me quite some time to get lasting sobriety again but the phone call was the start of it. 2 years later I still see those guys around - reminds me where I was.
Call them - it’s your best move

I don’t want to go to Aa and I don’t need patronising chat I need someone to just talk is that confusing?! Just a chat, oh well, we have international ways to do it now due to technology and I am a bit mad yes because I just want anyone at all to speak to me and that’s it! I wanna scream!
Hi Supermario
By our rules, we can't post peoples phone numbers and we caution our members about phoning people or receiving calls from folks they don't know.
I'm sure you're a lovely person, and I'm sure our SRers responding are lovely people too - but I'm also sure you can see the common sense in this and understand why we have those rules to ensure everyones safety.
Its a well established rule. Nothing personal at all.
You can also use the chat room if you find the forums too slow.

I would certainly ring you, but not sure what country or area of the world you are in. My mobile plan may not support long-distance to where you are. What I can say is that this forum is full of people who struggle with addiction and have been in your situation before. I will 'go out on a limb' and guess you feel a sense of impending doom. It is a bad place to be in. Keep posting and we can talk you through it!
