My mum is an alcoholic and I feel like there is no way out, she’s abusive and it’s horrible, is this how life is going to be like from now on?

You mentioned elsewhere your mum has sometimes made appointments to see community based support.

do you think your mum might follow through on one of those appointments if you sat her down (when shes sober) and explained what this is doing to you and the kids?
