Things are progressing fine, Vinny. "Par for the course". I can't sleep consistently for more than 3 or 4 hours. It's normal for early sobriety. I can't wait to January is over because I know that I will be better then!

Thanks everyone! Good to know this is normal for my stage. A lot of good points in here. My thought is I was always this tired with just the responsibilities of life, aging, and being out of shape. I was just masking it all with booze. Just part of the one day at a time process. I’ll get through it. Thanks again!

My alcoholic friend was tired all the time and had a vitamin b12 deficiency. Apparently a b12 deficiency is common in alcoholics. She got injections of b12 and her energy returned. Might be worth having a blood test for this if tiredness continues. Or taking a supplement. I was advised b12 has a low level of toxicity so it's safe to take a supplement even without medical advice.
