Day 26
Woohoo! I had a pretty decent night's sleep last night (I'm still on 1mg of Ativan so that helps but my dose is being slowly tapered and I absolutely will never seek them illegally) so that's a plus. My wife hit 30 days today and will get her 30 day chip at the meeting tonight. I'm still waiting on the sleep doctor to set my first CBT-I appointment which is honestly very frustrating. I went in for my consultation on Nov. 22nd and it has taken this long. Our medical system completely sucks if I'm to be perfectly frank but that's a topic for another forum. Anyways, I hope everyone reading this has a good sober day and a great 1st weekend of 2020.
Sleep is a bugger, but one we can deal with sober. I don't sleep well at all but even in the darkest hours, if I am awake, I lay there so content that my head it right and that I am calm and that tomorrow, while I may be drowsy, I will be open to the day. Congrats to your partner on her 30 day chip, and yours is only a few days away. We are all the same vintage. Living in Day 44 here.
