So glad that the thought of a binge, of any alcohol in my system, takes my breath away. The past 8 years of complete sobriety have allowed me to develop and progress in ways I could not have dreamed of. It is my belief (and that of many others), that this disease continues to progress. It gets worse, never better. If we are a true alcoholic it is a fool's errand to pursue a d'etant with alcohol.
