Day 6...i think lol

Losing count. Diddnt make a meeting today but im not drinking today for sure. Im in bed watching netflix. Home for nye with ny son. Going to the meeting tomorrow.

Im happy to say ive never gone more than 6 days sober and its looking like the 1st day of the year i will make my first week ever!

Ive gained 5 pounds this week sadly but i just joined a parks and rec gym close by.... I used to be so into working out and i love it so this will be good... but last year i joined a gym and i wasnt able to go because i was hungover every other day go figure....

So this time there should be no hangovers preventing my workouts. So thats a positive thing...

A bit depressed and mood swinging but pushing through...

Happy new year to everyone!!

Best of luck! We may have lost the decision of choice, but we can regain it. Big Hugs.

R!!!!!!!

I am so very happy for you! :)
This is really wonderful news.

Forget about 5 pounds or whatever. You can worry about that kind of trivial nonsense later. It's probably entirely because you were dehydrated 24/7. The most important thing is your health, and the best thing you are doing is to stay sober.

Can you tell I'm over the moon glad for you? ;)

I'm sorry you're feeling down. Give yourself a break there - you are bearing a lot of pressure and you're still here. Handling this sober will ultimately be way better, of course. But anyone would have their lows dealing with your situation. You're doing great. You're a strong woman.

I'm sorry you weren't able to make a meeting today but glad you'll be going tomorrow. Make that a "for sure," ok? Is it a women's meeting?

Happy New Year, dear.
And thanks for making my fond wish come true.

You know, there's probably at least a few "alcathons" going on in your city. I went to my first one Christmas Day and another early this morning. It was pretty neat. I'm going back later today.

It's a series of meetings all day long with endless coffee, food of some sort (generally warm) and lots of community camaraderie. You could find worse things to do on a holiday.
