Good morning Day 5
Very happy with last evening. Picked up
picked friend to go meet her husband for dinner. She offered us drinks. I asked for and had ice water while she and my husband enjoyed a small cordial-sized port.
At the restaurant, she and I both drank water, while the husbands each had local microbrews.
When we headed back to our hotel, my husband bought wine to keep in our room--a long-standing routine for us (him-Red; me-White). He for his Pinot Noir. I got...Diet Coke.
we are going to a NYE event at our friends' UU church this evening. Potluck, games, crafts... and only about half the people will bring beer or wine for themselves. Ends by 10 pm. We'll go have fun and I will bring Diet Coke.
