111 Days - Today sucked

I didn't drink but I could have. So much stress and expectation. For what it's worth I am going to bed sober.

You are making the best decisions possible. Going to bed sober is worth everything. Stay close to those who support you in your efforts, and what supports you.

Great job staying sober and Congrats on the 111!
I don't think you'll regret waking up sober.

I just woke up sober and living in Day 35. In those 35 days, my sleep has been almost comical. Non-existent. 2-5 hours per night. But I have felt so much better it really hasn't been an issue. But last night, Santa brought me 8+ full hours of non-booze-induced sleep for the first time in over 20 years. What a gift!!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas SR fam!!! So glad you went to bed sober PressmetillIHurt. Tell us when you wake up how glad you are that you did that.

Day(s) 112 and 3332 might "suck" too. It's how you get through those days that counts. This is where a solid action based plan/support comes in to play.

111 is incredible. Alcoholic or not, everyone has bad days/hours/minutes.

I look at it this way. My 8 year old has a temper tantrum about something very trivial to adults. But in her mind it the same problems that we as adults face.

Does she reach for the bottle of vodka? Of course not. She using different coping mechanisms. Us as adults have found that booze is a very easy way out because our minds have gotten used to it. The trick is to mentally punch out those negative thoughts in a much more productive matter.

Anyway, try and focus on your 111 days. That’s an incredible accomplishment.

It is an incredible accomplishment. Congratulations. I think this time of year is incredibly stressful for everyone and you are to be commended for having 111 days.

111!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is my number. I noticed the time was exactly 111 when I would think of my grandmother who passed away a little over a year ago.
When I see 111 good things happen, I am comforted and mindful.
Thank you for putting a 111 into my life today! Congrats on your sobriety.
Just think how much worse it would be if you woke up with a hangover...
Not fun makes suck *******suck...lol

Ride out the rest of the year Sober and content. . Then a brand new year/decade to enter sober . How is that for an expectation.
Congrats on your sober time.
