Had a wobble but didn't drink. Was full of cold and very tired. Still not sleeping well. Feel much better today had a really early night and got up early. Need to do this all the time cos getting a puppy. Can't wait. The thought of getting a puppy is what spurred me on to become sober. Being a zombie all day with a hangover isn't an option if you have a puppy to look after.Ill be rewarded by all the fun and joy he'll bring.

Puppies are great. I'm envious. But I think you realize getting sober is going to require more. Although going for a walk with your puppy is going to happen more often when you aren't hung over or waiting till you get that next drink. I know this will make your puppy happy. And happy puppies are better than sad puppies.

This gets me wondering, however. Why do we assume people drinking are happy? I think they could better be described as loud. Sometimes stupid fits too.
