I’m starting to read the Big Book more vigorously. My sponsor takes things very slowly which is fine but I honestly believe that I am going to experience more relief from drinking by working the steps. I have already started my Step 4 on Excel and I am sure it will be helpful. My sponsor does not know about this and would not approve but a white lie isn’t going to hurt anyone. I don’t want to lose my freedom to drinking and so I’m a bit more desperate this time around.

I think maybe the most important thing that I have learned in the past 3 years is patience. You are doing great! Please stay close to SR! Best wishes for you on your journey!

That is great you made it to Day 3. Tough few days behind you now and you can hit the new decade with 2 weeks sober. Great way to start the new year and the 20's.
