Hamster wheel Part 2

Good afternoon everyone - haven't posted much , but have been reading and following -- just felt like it would be a good idea to post my progress - 30 days in the books !! No desire whatsoever to drink , but I know the hard part is coming - I've had 30, 60 , 90 days before , even 9 months one time - but was always tricked that a couple wouldn't hurt - we know how that ends up !!! Maybe I'll give the "rooms" another try , or maybe Smart Recovery- will power alone normally never cuts it !! Just wanna say thanks to all of you on here who help out the new Jack's! -

Excellent job on 30 days!

And, I agree on trying any program that helps you, including posting and reading here. My suggestion for getting beyong the 30, 60, 90 days would be to make lifestyle changes to support your recovery. I had to remove a few people from my life who were toxic to me. I distanced myself from my mother. I started a serious walking program and I still do that today. I also started volunteering in my community and that is something that truly saved me.

You can do this!

30 days is great! I find it really helpful to post and read here daily, I will have four years on January 1st, and still feel SR is the cornerstone of my recovery.
