Congrats Tinkerbeau,
Very glad you are sober too! I am sure you will feel better every day . Enjoy the moment you are experience faith, help and comfort when you are mindful in the moment. I have to remind myself of this everyday. When I am fragile I have to nurture myself a day at a time. Hour at a time.
I will be worrying about Monday today (which I am)
- then Monday I will be worrying about Tuesday- makes no sense.
Going to get another cup of hot coffee and read my book, meeting later maybe a walk.
Have a nice sober weekend. Tomorrow will be another day waking up alcohol free.

Yey well done Tinkerbeau. I am finding that recovery is all about taking care of ourselves. Getting the right medication for any issues we have, eating well, light exercise, getting fresh air, lots of sleep and water. Self care. Spending time with loved ones. Helping others. Practicing gratitude. This is a great step for you to be diagnosed as bi polar and given tbe correct medication. I am really pleased for your stay close to SR.
