That is great about your kitty SushiRoll. I hope you are feeling better this morning. Steely you are living Day 2 now and SushiRoll Day 3? That is awesome. I am living in Day 27 here. Really no different than you two. All three of us very early days. Let's hit 2020 sober and feeling good.

Hi Steely and Surrendered19.
Thank you both so much for the support. Right back at ya! Let's hit the ground running in 2020. One day at a time of course.
I'm just waking to day 3 enjoying a coffee and enjoying the fact I don't have a headache.
Have a great day everyone.

I had a moment yesterday afternoon. I think I'm in mourning for my wine glass. I bought it while on holidays 3 years ago. I love it and feel sad I'll never get to use it again. I know I'm not using it for all the right reasons and how ridiculous this sounds but it's where I'm at.
Day 4.

Thanks Surrendered.. And hi to you too Sushi.

All 3 of of us on similar timelines. Though this is not to detract from your awesome 28 days Surrendered. Every day extra should be recognised and celebrated as a victory.

Entering Day 3 today. Woke this morning feeling positive. Making the decision to stop has helped me psychically. Don't feel stuck in indecision. Have Plans for today which feel less daunting than when I was drinking. I can do this. We all can.

Sushi you can still use your wine glass. Fill it with scrumptious non alcoholic drinks on those 'special' occasions and celebrate yourself, and your new found sobriety. I like a pretty glass too.

Onwards fellow travellers.

I think it's normal to mourn a long term relationship - even a bad one.

You're doing the right thing in quitting sushiroll

Day 5 and I will not drink today.
I think I'll have an early night I'm so tired.
Happy Friday everyone.
