Today is day 16.
We got a foot of snow here in Colorado - I used to be drunk the whole time we were expecting a snowstorm since I usually take the day off work.

It's nice to enjoy it sober.

Good for you. I'm glad your making progress. I used to be drunk the whole time all the time regardless of snow storm or not. Its good to be sober.

Today is day 19.
Ugh - I've been sick with a head cold since Wednesday. Hopefully it passes soon.

Yeah, my immune system had to build up again after I quit drinking.
Get well soon Chris.

I am three weeks sober today.
And I find that my life is much better for it.

Day 24 today.
The lack of withdrawal / hangover anxiety is quite noticeable. That sort of anxiety is completely different than general anxiety for me.

Another thing is - functioning on a daily basis is almost foreign to me. I was literally in fight or flight mode constantly when I was drinking.

Sometimes sobriety hurts, but ultimately it's a better choice than drinking.

Yes, we feel a bit raw in the early days. You're in the process of healing.
25 days is fabulous, Chris. Proud of you - we know how rough it is.
