Middle finger to AV
Although it's been a lovely wkend with my kiddies, it's been a bit relentless having to play constant referee with them fighting (typical siblings)! Hubbies been at work so I've been doing it all. Tonight around dinner time I started to feel irritated...think I was pissed off just through tiredness, this would normally make me reach for the bottle, but I stayed strong, I thought 'f**k off booze, ur not getting me. So i made myself a tasty zingy drink, got into a hot bath, relaxed & then decided to go for a late evening stroll in my neighbourhood, whilst listening to a sobriety podcast....felt AMAZING, think my hubbie thought I was nuts going out but I said I HAD to learn to work through my triggers!

Apparently, this vulgar disdain for drinking is not all that uncommon. I had it, and you are the second person to mention this reaction in the last 6 months. I suspect many of us have thought it, but usually don't put it in writing. LOL
