Welcome to SR and Good Luck!

What will you do instead of drinking? When I stopped I found I had a lot of time on my hands. I had to find things to do so I didn't just sit around thinking about how I wasn't drinking. If you don't already have a plan to do some other things, I suggest making one!

You'll find lots of support here, so take advantage of it instead of drinking.

Me too! No luck necessary . You are able to do this . Hard work /asking for help/support and faith that the universe has a better plan for you than numbing your brain and putting poison into your body.
Be mindful of how much physically you feel each day waking up alcohol free. Hold on to this feeling when the thought of an artificial chemical mind adjustment comes to mind.
