I made it to 2 years sober.
The main improvement for me has been in relationships with my wife and son. For this alone, I am very grateful.
For all those struggling: you can do it, keep going, it does get better and it is worth it.
I used SR and AVRT to help when cravings come or I'm stressed through work, etc. I took up sports I used to enjoy and opened my mind a bit when it came to socialising (e.g. getting over socializing without booze).
Finally, don't let admitting to people that you don't drink anymore stress you out. People really don't care.
