Working with others? Check
Two missing, but vital, ingredients for your check list.
Sorry mate, I misread "working the steps" for "worked the steps". Two weeks in can be bumpy. I found for myself that when I decided that finding or getting this higher power thing through the steps was the real priority and I began earnestly seeking, the thought of a drink stayed away, even though there were many ups and downs in my emotional state. Bu the 90 day mark I was into step nine when I suddenly realised I had gone all that time without any serious urge to drink, and everything has changed. The problem had been removed and, so far, has not come back.
The pace at which I worked the steps, an average of one a week, was lightening fast by today's standards, yet quite slow compared to how they did things back when the recovery rate was much higher.
So when you checked "working the steps" what does that look like?
