Day 1!
So last night I went to the hospital expecting to be put on a medical detox and staying a few days. They didn’t feel that was necessary, despite my 2 bottle of wine a day habit. I was grateful not to have to spend time in the hospital though. Sent home with Librium and lots of information on outpatient programs and AA. So today begins the journey...I’m ready!

You've made a wise decision. Use the support here to help you stay sober for good. It's rough at first but it gets better the longer you stay sober.
