We here in SR consider you, like so many, part
of our recovery family. All of us have struggles,
even I at times. No one is perfect. All we do is
take each day as it comes and continue to read,
listen and learn something new along the way.

Everything goes to "rubbish" in a matter of days...YOU ARE NOT KIDDING.
But, also in a matter of days you can get back to where you were...you were feeling good, participating in life and seeing the benefits in your family....and you can do it again.
Alcoholism sucs everything about it..but if there is one thing that I have learned it is...within a few days everything can turn from "rubbish" back to "better"...and you can do it because you have done it....and you just have to pick that morning when you wake up and say THIS IS IT...not drinking, going to feel like crap for a few days and I will handle it....Have faith in yourself because WE have seen you do it and know that you can.

Please do seriously consider getting support in real life. Is there any good reason not to do that?

I'm like you mummy I get upset at harsh talking too, it doesn't always work for everyone xx If it helps, I learned something new with every relapse and I feel they were a necessary part of me reaching the place I am in now. Risky business though because it nearly killed me - I'm rooting for you!
