Day 25

I have no revelations. I haven't learned anything new. I don't drink and go to meetings. Probably somewhere between step 2 and 3. I'm not sure what "the care of God as i understand Him" means.

I have a friend who has tried to stop drinking for a very long time- and recently had an 'aha' moment and is enjoying life more with 8w sobriety. It takes time.

My friend with 25 days under your belt. You already are understanding in a sense. Confrats on sober time. ✌

Good job Press. Keep going - not everyone gets the OMGIgettheprogramnow kind of breakthru in a few weeks. Not many do, in my observation and experience. The keep coming back axiom applies to us all.

2 and 3, then 4 are perhaps most critical for many of us. The understanding steps lead us to the later action steps, if you will. A good sponsor helps immensely (I am assuming you are not trying to work the steps on your own).

Glad you are sober and posting.

It really does take months for most of us to find the comfort and peace in sobriety. The old road metaphor is great. Building new paths is hard work, and trees take time to sprout and grow on the old paths. Until that happens they look so much more attractive and easy.

good on ya for 25 days!
i think understanding the part before that- our will and our lives- could help.
our will is out thoughts and our lives is our actions- we put them in Gods care- we start thinking,"what would our HP want us to DO?
now- define what your HP is.
and starting reading at the bottom of pg 60 after
(c) That God could and would if He were sought.

this is pretty simple, press. dont complicate it too much. if you get moving on the steps you will start to understand.
do you have a sponsor that you could bring this up with?
