Let’s get back on track
Recovering from an all night drinking session in which I lost £240 at the casino. My recent like for casinos is that they serve alcohol all night.
Any way I have thrown all the remaining alcohol in my home down the sink and am absolutely determined to bring this 1 month relapse from hell to a close.
Anyone thinking of having a drink. Take it from me it is not worth it.

I really have problems making plans. I was 5 months sober until my relapse.
Im off work on the sick at the moment. Why I took that first drink I just don’t know.
its a life long battle I have had with alcohol. I just want to be free if it forever.

You can be free of alcohol forever. You must want to not drink more than you want to drink. Sounds simple, huh? I know it's not. There's a lot more to it than that. But it is true. I had to want sobriety more than I wanted to drink.
I poured more booze down the drain than a normal drinker drinks in a year. Didn't work. They kept making more.
I hope you find something that works for you to help you quit drinking for good.
There are options, and you'll see them mentioned here. I couldn't quit on my own. I needed help.
If you're in the same situation, I hope you find that help.

It sounds like you learned something valuable, Stable. Sometimes it's necessary to prove to ourselves that nothing fun or joyful happens when we pick up. Especially after being sober for a while. You're back - you can do this!
