Oh, man I love it when you guys post. I used to love it when there were lots of long chatty posts in this thread, but I understand that not everyone likes to share. I miss the slice of life posts. Maybe I too need to fill hours in a different way these days. I really don't want to have to go back to work!

Big ole huge congrats to Forwards and Kaily.

Kaily, I know how much you wanted it, so happy for you.

Eagle cam
is back up. They fixed the sound! I know I'm the only one here who probably cares about that. Lots of eagle "bonding" going on - eggs in November, I think.

Bim!!! Love the eagle cam. We have one in PA too!

But our eagles are nesting!! Really cool stuff to watch. Beautiful creatures.

Have a great Tuesday everyone! And Kaily, AWESOME on 11 months!!! Can't believe a year is a month away for you.

Nice, dpac! There's a whole forum, four cameras on them, fans, chat, history and blow by blow on this particular pair of eagles. The nest is in Florida. Chicks #12 & 13 fledged last March. It's pretty fascinating.

Right now they are doing nestorations, adding more sticks along the rails, more soft inner nest materials, etc.

I have been to three companies today, one in north London and the other two just south of London in a place called New Addington and Purley Way. My timing was definitely off as I got rained on three times. It could be worse as other parts of the country to the north and west are experiencing floods. Welcome to October (sigh)

Hi Healthyandsober,

You’ve come to the right place to meet like minded people who understand what you’re going through.

Morning

It is cold outside today! 5C here though the forecast says it will go to 12C. And the best day all week! All I know about today is it will be a sober one. ooh the sun’s just come out.

Saou I saw the news with all the floods. We haven’t had any round us that I know of but the council have had flood defences built along the Trent bank.

I hope if anyone is in the flood areas hope they’re safe and have got help.

Just waiting for the docs reception to open to phone for an appointment. Started on my rescue steroids (for asthma) and have to log it and get checked out.

I’m amazed how fast time passes, October! It’ll soon be Christmas. I bought some Christmas chocolates which were on offer and to put away! Hopefully for some reason one tin is already opened.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Tasty how are you ?

Healthyandsober sorry your struggling. You have plenty of online friends here who do truly understand. Keep posting regularly and let us know how you are feeling. Good or bad.

Mags hope the steroids work quickly and your asthma gets under control. Christmas and chocolates, one I love one I hate!

I tried to follow a recipe (I am no cook) and it included garlic, not something I ever use. It has made my house smell and given me a headache. I am sure I must reek of it. Worse of all, I made enough for three nights. No vampires here

Kaily, I think I can guess which one you love!
First time I used garlic I used two bulbs of the stuff instead of two cloves. An easy mistake to make!. Put me off for years.
