Popping in

Evening all, thought I'd pop in to say hello. Also to let you know I'm still about even though I'm not posting much.
Nothing really new to report, had my medication tweaked again. It's all trial an error, so been up and down emotionally. I think it's going to take awhile. My pup is now 7mths nearly that's gone quick.
Anyway I'm rambling now lol.
Lots of love xx

Good to hear from you Doris - how are you going on the recovery front?

I'm struggling to be honest Dee, but I'm aware of the old feelings popping up. I'm worried about hitting the button. So my plan is to decorate my bedroom this weekend. It's never far away. I have a couple of really good friends that I told about how I'm feeling right now which helps a lot. I think I've said before I get so far and BOOM. So to tell them before it happens, it has made me more vigilant. Normally I talk after the event lol. ( crying with shame blah, blah) so to say it out loud before it happens is a good thing.
I think I'm going to be around this weekend, untill these feelings pass. Thanks Dee 😊

Doris, i have found that staying around has served me well. 'staying' instead of leaving and dropping in when feelings don't feel good.
that way, my feelings at any given moment are not as likely to take over the decision-making function.

I don't know where it comes from. Is it boredom? is it loneliness? I know what the consequences will be. So why does it pop up. Is it wanting to escape the hum drum of every day life.
The good thing to come out of this, is that I've addressed it before the event actually happens, so I guess that's a sort of victory 😃.

It's good to be back 😃. It's so good to be honest, open and knowing that no one passes judgement. That in its self is priceless . Thanks Hevyn xx
