100 Days Today
Hi All,
Not posted for a while, but I am here daily and take solace from reading all the encouragement and experience of others.
I can't believe how I've made it this far, considering the place I was at when I finally had to (and wanted to) quit. I'd never tried to quit before because I didn't want to - I enjoyed it right? I enjoyed it for 30+ years at the expense of others...but this thing is progressive, and I started not to enjoy it. I got the shakes etc. and started drinking earlier and earlier until any control I thought I had was gone. It wasn't easy to quit, but I now have the will and the help to stay quit.
So, 100 days is a big thing for me and I don't intend to go back. For those of you who have yet to commit, I can tell you it is worth it - I feel so much better, look so much better, sleep better, work better, have much better relationships with my family and friends - the list goes on. I don't need alcohol in my life.
Thanks again to those of you who gave me encouragement on the June and July threads. I will keep coming here and reading and occasionally posting to ensure I keep my sobriety.
Good luck everyone for another sober day.
Thanks,
Andy.

Fabulous!!! Well done. I know how hard it is at times. At 100 days it all starts to makes sense. I am at 322 today. Never go back. One word of advise NEVER become complacent. Not that you would but just remember we are one drink away, always, to square one . Well done ❤️👍
