still sober ,long absence
Hello all ,
Its been a long time since I posted and I feel a degree of guilt as this group helped me so so much in my darker days .
I am sober around 14 months now , I didn't note my exact last drink day .
For the benefit of doubt I will make a calculated guess at 1st Aug 2018 .
I pray for those who struggle with this terrible illness .
Life for me in the last year has been difficult but I resisted on more than one occasion the urge to pick up a drink .

Congratulations Tom & well done living a life without drinking & reaping the benefits even though life has been difficult. I remember you as we have the same sober date, same timeline. In the past couple of months, after one year, here & there I offer encouragement & share what worked for me & may help someone as this site has helped me. I guess I pick my spots.
