Day 72
Life is going very well. Is it perfect, nope but a hell of a lot better then it was when I was drinking.
I look back to earlier this year when I was drinking to die. I even went so far as to plan and pay for my funeral because that is were the drinking took me. Now I want to live and do the simple things that give me the happiness and satisfaction of helping others like I was in years past before the drink.
I wanted my life back 73 days ago and 72 days ago the fight started and as of now, score is 72 – 0.

Not to be morbid but to pass along information for the US vets that may not know.
I learned about this earlier this year and it is a nice benefit to have but too bad I learned about it in the state I was in. If you know what I mean.
