FOMO feeling at Weekends? Weekenders 13 - 16 September 2019
Morning Weekenders
We’re going for a walk around Normanby Park later today with in-laws. If I can take any reasonable photos I’ll post them later, on the new thread. My photos don’t ever look like the ones you guys put up. Ah but practice makes nearly perfect.
Catch you later.

Morning all.
I've been in the office since 06h45.
Been a pretty productive morning so happy about that.
I left myself get into a messy sitaution in work these last few weeks as you can imagine so i am slowly winning back confidence and respect.
I seen a thread on the newcomers about somebody whos slipped off and is battling to get back on the sober path. The discussion turned into a kind of a debate (friendly) whether a slip is a slip, whats a slip, or one chooses to consume in all consciousness.
I'm the second one, i'm an alcoholic since i was a teenager, i often felt i needed to turn the lights out upstairs but they always seem to turn back on and even brighter with stronger bulbs the next day so you end up having to turn them out more and more often. Until you end up in the dark nearly everyday.
So relapse after relapse i realise its time to start dealing with the light and veer away from the darkness. Thanks to all for the king words and advice. I'm racking up days and feeling better.
