Day 4
Signs of improvement today. I spent all day in bed yesterday and my bones were aching.
I got out of bed today forced myself out to the shop and bought some food.
Just got back from a 5 mile walk. I will try to be more productive tomorrow.
I have to to go back to work on Tuesday after spending much of the last 2 weeks off with Deppression.
Allcohollism is not treated in the same way as any other illness especially by employers.
Also the NHS in UK does not deal at all well with addiction or mental illness.

Sounds like a tough weekend, but the five-mile walk must’ve felt good, and lucky you ventured out today whilst the UK weather is still good (I just checked tomorrow’s forecast ☹️).
Are you feeling down due to the recent relapse? You mentioned in an earlier post seeing your GP. How did that go (if you’ve already seen your GP)?

Well I was deppressed which let to the relapsed which added to an already bad situation.
i have not been to the GP yet I will make an appointment tomorrow.
i need to do things differently this time and improve my sober strategy.
Yes I feel better after the walk and will need to do much more exercise as part of my new healthy lifestyle.

I think a 5 mile walk is pretty damn good...You will be ok for work...your brain is tired...but once you get back in the swing after the first day...you will feel stronger and prouder.....As long as you don't drink everything will feel better...day by day.
