Hi all
Well this time 31 days ago I stopped drinking and cannabis What a month it has been, some ups and downs as expected but ultimately it has been a very positive experience. For anyone out there struggling no matter what situation you are in sobriety is possible. Biggest and hardest change I made to my recovery plan since the last relapse was ditching all my "friends". I was so afraid of being lonely, I have no partner and couldn't bare the thought of not seeing people i'd been around for 15+ years but actually I feel less alone now than ever and have made a few friends through AA. A big thanks to SR for helping me on my journey thus far long may it continue

Happy ONE Month Anniversery...Friends MAKE AA....AA is a great tool but it is a lot easier after you meet a few people that you look forward to seeing AND not letting down....
Everytime I have gone to AA...What do they say? "Keep Coming Back!"..not many people said that to me in the past...LOL
